International Martial Art Competition starts today

The 4th Begum Fazilatunnisa Mujib International Martial Art Competition starts today at the Gumnasium of National Sports Council.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Biren Sikder will inaugurate the meet as the chief guest.
The events of the Competition will be held at the Gymnasium of National Sports Council, Muhammad Ali Boxing Stadium and Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium in Mirpur. Bangladesh Martial Art Confederation will arrange the competition under auspices of Moryum Foundation.
A total of 20 countries including hosts Bangladesh will take part in the meet. A number of 500 athletes will participate in the sports competition.
The events of the competition are: Karate, Judo, Self Defence, Jujutsu, Taekwondo, Kung Fu, Ushu, Kick Boxing, Breaking Coconut, Breaking Wood, Breaking brick, Breaking Ice etc.
Minister for Shipping Shahjahan Khan will distribute the prizes among the winners as the chief guest on the concluding day (June 9). Minister for Information Hasanul Haq Inu will preside over the prize-giving ceremony.
