The Institute of Management Consultants Bangladesh (IMCB) observed International Management Consultants Day (IMC-Day) 2022 on Saturday at a city hotel.
Planning Minister M A Mannan was present as the Chief Guest while Abul Kalam Azad, former SDG Coordinator and Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister spoke on the occasion as the Speaker. Prof Dr Abdur Rab, Chief Advisor of IMCB and Vice Chancellor of IUBAT chaired the Programme.
M Zakir Hossain, Chairman IMCB delivered welcome address highlighting the activities of IMCB and of the particularly for bold and laudable initiative and success of the present government to implement the MEGA Projects.
IMCB Chairman expressed the hope that Bangladesh could be a developed country before 2041 subject to good governance, corruption control, prevention of money laundering and willful loan defaulting, prevention of drug addiction, improved law and order situation, all of which are only possible under the dynamic leadership of the Prime Minister.
Apart from this, Wazir Alam, immediate past president, Syed Ahmed Ali, 1st Vice President of IMCB and Nazrul Islam, Professional Development Committee of IMCB spoke on the occasion as the discussants.
This annual celebration were graced by distinguished personalities from the government, business communities, development partners, eminent scholars, local and foreign consultants, academicians, researchers, NGOs, representatives of the civil society and print and electronic media.
