International Junior Tennis Championship to begin on November 2

The Walton 29th International Junior Tennis Championship will begin on November 2 at the National Tennis Complex in Ramna.
Bangladesh Tennis Federation will arrange the six-day long tennis competition under auspices of Walton.
A total of 104 tennis players (68 boys & 36 girls) from 16 countries will take part in the gala tennis tournament. Hosts Bangladesh, Australia, Cambodia, China, Great Britain, Germany, Hong Kong, India, South Korea, Malaysia, Netherlands, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Syria and Chinese Taipei will compete in the tennis competition.
Regarding the upcoming tennis competition, a press conference was held at the conference room of National Tennis Complex in Ramna on Thursday.
First Senior Additional Director of Walton FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, Vice-President of Bangladesh Tennis Federation (BTF) Mohammad Ali Din, General Secretary of BTF Mir Khurshid Anwar, Director of the Tournament Committee Lutfur Rahman were present at the conference, among others.
Minister for Finance Abul Maal Abdul Muhith will inaugurate the tennis meet as the chief guest on November 1 while First Senior Additional Director of Walton FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn and Secretary General of Bangladesh Olympic Association Syed Shahed Reza will be with him as special guests.
President of Bangladesh Tennis Federation and State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam, MP will preside over the inaugural ceremony.
The tennis meet will come to an end on November 7.
