The Walton International FIDE Rating Chess Tournament begins today at Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room.
Bangladesh Chess Federation has arranged the chess competition under auspices of Walton Group.
Adviser to Bangladesh Awami League Mozaffar Hossain Paltu will formally open the chess meet as the chief guest, while Senior Operative Director (Head of Games & Sports Department) of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn will be with him as the special guest.
Vice-President of Bangladesh Chess Federation KM Shahidullah will preside over the inaugural ceremony.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Chess Federation Syed Shahabuddin Shamim will be present at the time.
