InterContinental Hotels Group Management Team visited Dhaka led by Pascal Gauvin, Managing Director, India, Middle East and Africa (IMEA) and Vivek Bhalla, Regional Vice-President, South West Asia (SWA) flown to Dhaka, recently. One of the biggest names in the hospitality InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has stepped in the country with its premiere brand InterContinental after the inauguration by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on 13th September, 2018, said a press release.
Management of Bangladesh Service Limited (BSL) and the Management Team of InterContinental Dhaka gave them warm welcome and look the around the property. Mr. Pascal felt enchanted after seeing the property. He was amazed to see the way renovation was done keeping the old structure preserved while preparing the interior work to give it a millennial outlook. The rooms are specious in size and designed to give the travelers more comfort with luxury.
Bhalla who is looking after South West Asia joined IHG last year amazed to see the life of Dhaka and expressed that Dhaka has a lot to offer to the International travelers. He also surmised that IHG being one of the largest hospitality chains can add value to the guest expectation in this destination. In the evening Hotel arranged a cocktail reception in honor of Mr. Pascal & Mr. Bhallah where they mingled with the high officials of BSL and some senior media journalists.
