The 8th Inter-Private University Table Tennis Tournament begins today at the Auditorium of United International University. United International University of Bangladesh has arranged the table tennis competition.
A total of nine private universities are competing in the table tennis competition. They are: Host United International University of Bangladesh, Daffodil International University, Bangladesh University of Business & Technology, North South University, State University, BRAC University, Independent University of Bangladesh, Eastern University and University of Liberal Arts.
A total of 50 players are taking part in the three-day long table tennis competition.
The events of the tournament are: Men’s singles, men’s doubles and team event.
The competition will be held on knock out basis.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Table Tennis Federation Khondker Hasan Munir
will formally open today at 11.00 am as the chief guest while Deputy Managing Director of Fakir Knitwear’s Limited FM Zaman (Niaz) will be with him as the special guest.
