An inter-ministerial meeting was held on Wednesday at the Youth and Sports Ministry conference room for successfully hosting the AFC U-23 Championship 2016 qualifiers schedule to be held on March 27-31 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium.
Youth and Sports secretary Noor Mohammad presided over the meeting. Bangladesh Football Federation officials were also present on the occasion.
Apart from Bangladesh, India Uzbekistan and Syria will compete in the meet.
In the meeting, the Youth and sports secretary sought cooperation to the representatives of concern ministries, associations and divisions to make the events a success.
The concern representatives assured the State Minister to do their duty properly.
In the meeting, cooperation was asked to ensure security of the invited local and foreign guests, players and officials during the time of their stay in Bangladesh.
