An inter-ministerial meeting was held on Sunday at the Youth and Sports Ministry conference room for holding the upcoming home series against Zimbabwe and Bangladesh Premier League T20.
Youth and Sports secretary Noor Mohammad presided over the meeting.
Zimbabwe will visit Bangladesh on November 2-16. The visitors will play three ODIs and then they will again visit Bangladesh on January 1-20 next year to play two-match Test series and two T20Is. Besides, the third edition of BPL T20 will be held on November 20 to December 15 in Dhaka.
The Youth and Sports secretary sought cooperation to the representatives of concern ministries, associations and divisions to make the events a success.
In the meeting, officials of Youth and Sports Ministry, Foreign Ministry, Home Ministry, Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry, Information Ministry, Power, Post and Telecommunication Ministry, Finance Ministry, Local Government Division, Power Division, Health and Family Welfare Ministry, Dhaka City Corporation and officials of Bangladesh Cricket Board were also present.
On the other hand, another inter-ministerial meeting was held today at the Youth and Sports Ministry conference room for holding the International Junior Tennis tournament on October 31 to November 7 in Dhaka and Rajshahi and Open International Badminton Challenge on December 1-5 in Dhaka.
