An inter-ministerial meeting was held on Monday at the Youth and Sports Ministry conference room for successfully hosting the AFC Cup to be participated by popular clubs of the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore and hosts Bangladesh.
The matches will be held on March 8, 15, and 26 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium here.
The meeting emphasized to ensure the security of foreign players and officials during their stay in Bangladesh. The concern representatives of the ministry also assured for successfully hosting the tournament.
Kazi Akter Uddin, acting Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, presided over the meeting. Bangladesh Football Federation’s officials were also present on the occasion.
