An inter-ministerial meeting was held on Wednesday at the Youth and Sports Ministry conference room in a bid to have successful hosting of forthcoming U-18 Asia Cup Hockey tournament.
The meeting was presided by Youth and Sports Secretary Kazi Akteruddin Ahmed in the chair.
The Under 18 Asia Cup Hockey tournament is scheduled to be held from September 24-30 at Moulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium with the participation of India, Pakistan, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Oman, China and host Bangladesh.
In the meeting, cooperation was sought from all the concerned representatives of ministries, associations and divisions to make this event a grand success.
The concern representatives assured the State Minister to do their duties properly.
