A day-long Inter hall cultural competition of Islamic University (IU) was held at Birshreshtho Hamidur Rahman central auditorium on the campus on Sunday.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari inaugurated the competition as chief guest. Provost Council organized the competition.
University Treasurer Professor Dr M Selim Toha, Acting Registrar SM Abdul Latif addressed the function as special guests.
Chairman of the Provost Council, Professor Dr M Mizanur Rahman presided over the function while Associate Professor of Bangla Department, Dr M Robiul Hossain conducted it.
The competition was held through 5 events including recitation, native song, dance and quiz.
Students of seven residential halls of the university took part in the competition.
