Sports Reporter :The Popular Life Insurance 15th Inter-District Volleyball Competition begins tomorrow (Saturday) at the Dhaka Volleyball Stadium.Bangladesh Volleyball Federation will organize the volleyball meet with the financial assistance of Popular Life Insurance Limited. To mark the forthcoming volleyball competition, a press conference was held at the conference room of Bangabandhu National Stadium on Thursday.General Secretary of Bangladesh Volleyball Federation Ashiqur Rahman Miku, Chairman of the Women’s Volleyball Committee and Special Police Super (CID) Syeda Zannat Ara, Executive Director of Popular Life Insurance Limited Alamgir Feroz spoke at the conference. Vice-President of Bangladesh Volleyball Federation (BVF) Tabiur Rahman Pahlowan, Joint-Secretary of BVF Azizur Rahman and Treasurer of the Federation Sirajul Islam were present, among others.Inspector General of Bangladesh Police AKM Shahidul Haque, BPM, PPM will inaugurate the volleyball competition tomorrow as the chief guest.A total of 12 district teams will participate in the volleyball competition. They are: Gazipur, Rajshahi, Kushtia, Kishoreganj, Satkhira, Khulna, Jhenaidah, Narail, Chittagong, Pabna, Nilphamari and Bagerhat.The volleyball competition will come to an end on October 14.
