The Inter-District U-15 Women’s Kabaddi competition begins today (Wednesday) at Dhanmondi Sultana Kamal Women’s Sports Complex in the city. A total of 228 players from 19 district teams from across the country are taking part in the two-day meet, organized by Bangladesh Women’s Sports Association (BWSA). Deputy Inspector General (administration and discipline) of Bangladesh Police Habibur Rahman is expected to open the meet as the chief guest at 10 am.
Parliament member Rumana Ali is expected to present in the closing ceremony on Thursday. (April 11) and distribute the prizes. BWSA president Mahbub Ara Begum Gini will preside over the closing ceremony.
