The two-day Luthfun Nesa Haque Bokul Inter District Women’s Athletics Competition concluded on Wednesday at Women’s Sports Complex in the city’s Dhanmondi.
State Minister for youth and Sports Biren Sikder was present as the chief guest on the concluding day and distributed prizes among the winners.
Bangladesh Athletics Federation ASM Ali Kabir and Bangladesh Olympic Association’s secretary general Syed Shahed Reza were present as special guests.
Women’s Sports Complex president Rafia Akter Dolly and general secretary Kamrun Nahar Dana were also present on the concluding ceremony.
Ayesha Akter of Gaibandha emerged individual champion with 15 points and Ronny Bhoumik of Jessore finished runner-up with 13 points.
Besides, Gaibandha emerged team event champions with 18 points while Chittagong district finished runners-up with 15 points.
