The Walton Smart TV Inter-District Volleyball Competition begins today at the Dhaka Volleyball Stadium.
Bangladesh Volleyball Federation has arranged the volleyball meet under auspices of RB Brothers Limited.
Marking the forthcoming volleyball competition, a press conference was held at the conference room of Bangabandhu National Stadium on Tuesday.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Volleyball Federation (BVF) Ashiqur Rahman Miku, Additional Director of RB Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Don, Secretary of the Sports Organising Committee Advocate Fazle Rabbi Babul, Brand Ambassador of Walton Jobera Rahman Linu were present at the conference.
The budget of the tournament has been estimated at Tk six lakh ten thousand and six hundred.
The zonal phase of Chittagong will be held on April 17 and April 18 at the Dhaka Volleyball Stadium. Chittagong District team, Comilla District team, Chandpur District team, Feni District team, Cox’s Bazar District, Rangamati District team and Bandarban District team will compete in the Chittagong zonal phase.
The final phase of the tournament will be taken place at the same venue on April 21 to April 24.
A total of twelve teams will take part in the final phase of the tournament.
They are: Rangpur District team, Dinajpur District team, Satkhira District team, Khulna District team, Narail District team, Dhaka District team, Gazipur District team, Habiganj District team, Patuakhali District team, Pabna District team and top two teams of Chittagong zonal phase.
