The Inter Department Cricket competition of Jahangirnagar University (JU) began on Sunday at central playground of the university.
JU Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Abul Hossain inaugurated the event as the chief guest.
The inauguration ceremony was presided over by president of sports management committee Professor Dr ATM Atiqur Rahman. Director of Physical Education office Md. Sifatullah delivered the welcome speech.
JU Pharmacy Department defeated Government and Politics Department by 7 wickets in the inaugural match.
