The Inter-Department Badminton and Table Tennis competitions of Jahangirnagar University (JU) were concluded at Gymnasium on the campus here on Saturday.
Mashukur Rahman of Finance and Banking department became champion among the male in Badminton competition defeating Rajib Hossain of Health and Informatics department while Maumita Momo of Pharmacy department became champion among female defeating Shayla Rahman Ima of Zoology department.
Abu Adnan of Pharmacy department became champion among male in Table Tennis competition defeating Usaching Kheyangk of Bangla department while Israt Jahan Nahima of Physics department became champion among female defeating Abida Rashida of Botany department.
JU Treasurer Professor Dr Abul Khair enjoyed the final matches and distributed prizes among the winners, while President of Competition Management Committee Associate Professor Hosne Ara Baby, Registrar Abu Bakar Siddique and acting Director of the Physical Education Office Habiba Yesmin attended the function, among others.
