Inter-Department T-20 Cricket Competition of Jahangirnagar University (JU) began on central playground on the campus here on Wednesday.
JU Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Abul Hossain inaugurated the match as the chief guest while President of Cricket Competition Management Committee Professor Dr. ATM Atiqur Rahman, Director of JU Gymnasium Md. Sifatullah and Director of JU Public Relations Office Meer Abul Kashem were present among others.
In the inaugurating match JU Geological Science department defeated Government and Politics department by 44 runs.
