The Walton 2nd Inter-College Women’s Rugby competition begins Saturday at Paltan ground adjoining Bangabandhu National Stadium.
A total of eight teams, split into two groups, will take part in the four-day competition, sponsored by Walton Group.
Top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals while the final of the competition is slated to be held on September 26.
In this regards a press conference was held on Thursday at conference room of Bangabandhu National Stadium to provide all the details of the meet.
Walton operative director head of games and sports and Bangladesh Rugby Federation (BRF) general secretary Moushum Ali, BRF joint secretary Sayeed Ahmed, were among others, present on the occasion.
The participating teams are Shaheed Bir Uttam M Anowara Girls College, Central Women’s College, Dhaka Commerce College, Home Economics College, Narayanganj College, Cambrian College, Hayemchor College and Central Women’s College hostel team.
