An integrated planning meeting was organized by Rangpur district administration with the participation of government and non-government organizations.
The meeting was held on Thursday morning in the conference room of the Rangpur Deputy Commissioner’s Office to raise awareness about the village court.
Rangpur Deputy Commissioner Asib Ahsan spoke as the chief guest while Syed Farhad Hossain, Deputy Director, Local Government, Rangpur, presided over the function. Rafiqul Islam, DF ATM, Village Court Project, Rangpur District, presented the achievements and success of the Village Court Project, conducted by Tanuka Bhowmik, Assistant Director, Local Government Department.
The participants in the meeting pledged to work for raising awareness about village courts through various publicity activities of their respective organizations. Representatives of government and non-government organizations took part in the meeting.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rangpur, Md. Golam Rabbani,Rangpur District Police Additional Superintendent of Police Syed Md Farhad, Chandan Pat Union Chairman Aminur Rahman, UNDP Rangpur DF Matiur Rahman were also present at the meeting.
