The undergraduate admission test of arts and social science unit of Dhaka University (DU) affiliated seven colleges for 2018-19 academic year was held on Saturday.
A total of 17,476 admission seekers applied against 11,630 seats in the intake test.
The test was held in 7 centres – Government Titumir College, Government Bangla College, Kabi Nazrul Government College, Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College, Begum Badrunnessa Government Women’s College, Dhaka College and Eden Women’s College.
DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md. Akhtaruzzaman visited the Begum Badrunnessa Government Women’s College center during the exam. Meanwhile, the admission test for science unit was held on November 9 at 3pm where a total of 31,804 admission seekers applied against 6,550 seats. Admission test for the commerce unit will be held on November 16 (Friday).
