The second Insurance fair 2017 is going to be kicked off from December 22 to 23 at Sylhet.
Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA), Economic division of finance ministry, Bangladesh Insurance Academy, Bangladesh Insurance association and Bangladesh Insurance Forum are jointly organizing the two-day long fair with cooperation of the Insurance companies of the country.
The Insurance fair will take place on December 22 at Poet Nazrul Auditorium of Sylhet. The inauguration of the program will be through a rally with contribution of insurance company representatives and officials.
Insurance Fair 2017 would be inaugurated by the finance minister Abul Mal Abdul Muhit while state minister of Finance and Planning ministry MA Mannan will remain present as honorary guest and Additional Secretary of Financial Institution Department Manik Chandra Dey will remain present as special guest. The program will be presided by Insurance Development and Control Authority Chairman Shafiqur Rahman Patowari.
On December 23, a seminar titled “Regulatory Reforms of Insurance Sector in Bangladesh” to be held at Sylhet District Council Conference room where special guest will be Vice-Chancellor of Shahjalal Science and Technology Univerty Professor Dr FaridUddin Ahmad and as special guest Chairman of Chittagang Stock Exchange Ltd Dr AK Abdul Momen.
Government Insurance companies along with thirty life and non-life insurance companies would take part in the fair to deliver solutions to the customers’ problems and provide suggestions besides selling insurance products directly to the customers.
