Institute of Kabaddi Jatarabari emerged the champions of the Aarong Dairy Federation Cup Women Kabaddi Tournament beating Dhaka Wanderers Club by 23-21 points in the final at the Kabaddi Stadium on Thursday.
After the final match, Secretary of the National Sports Council Ashoke Kumar Biswas distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest while CEO of BRAC Dairy of Food Project Md Abdur Rouf was with him as the special guest.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Athletic Federation Ibrahim Changish was present at the time.
Chairman of the Tournament Committee and Vice-President of Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation Md Nizam Uddin Chowdhury Parvez presided over the prize-giving ceremony.
Sraboni Mallick of Dhaka Wanderers Club was adjudged the best player of the tournament.
The champions were awarded Tk twenty thousand while the runners-up were given Tk ten thousand as prize-money.
