The installation ceremony of the newly elected office bearers of the Bangladesh Homeopathic Parishad, Chittagong District Committee was held at a city posh hotel on March 5 last with Prof Dr Debratha Bhattachariya in the chair.
Divisional Govt representative of Bangladesh Homeopathy Board Alhaj Dr Saleh Ahmed Suleman graced the occasion as Chief Guest. President of the central committee of Bangladesh Homeopathic Parishad Principal Dr Abdul Karim conducted the oath- taking ceremony of the newly- elected office- bearers as Chief Guest.
Central General Secretary of BAHOP Dr Anjan Kumar Das was present in it as principal speaker.
The speakers on the occasion emphasised the responsibility and proper homeopathic treatment to the poor patients of the under privileged areas of the society. The speakers hoped that homeo medicine will contribute a significant role to flourish the homeo medicare service.
Mentionable that in every week, BAHOP organize higher class on homeo medicine once in a week in Chittagong to impart more knowledge to the practioners. BAHOP city unit President Dr Mridul Kanti Dey, District Vice- President Dr Abdur Rahman, Dr Sadhan chandra Paul, District General Secretary Dr Enamul Hoque, Ln Dr Pranab Ranjan Biswas, Dr.Sakina Akhter, Dr SM Rabiul Hossain, Dr Ratan Kumar Banik, Prof Fazlul Kader Chowdhury spoke on the occasion as special guests. Among others, upazila based BAHOP leaders from 14 upazilas of Chittagong also spoke in it.
