Canadian University of Bangladesh (CUB) has organised an ‘Idea Workshop on Mobile Games and Apps Development’ on Monday at its Banani Campus in the capital. The workshop was jointly arranged by ICT Division, Bangladesh and CUB.
Prof William H Derrenger, Vice Chancellor, CUB was the chief guest and Ranajit Kumar, Project Director (Deputy Secretary), Skill Development for Mobile Game and Application Project was the special guest in the workshop while SM Arifuzzaman, Head, School of Business, Canadian University of Bangladesh chaired the program.
Dr Muhammad Xane Alam Raabid, Project Management Consultant, Skill Development for Mobile Game and Application Project conducted the workshop. He mentioned that the government has selected 38 Public and Private Universities for this specialized program. Canadian University of Bangladesh is one of the selected private universities.
A total number of 100 students participated in the daylong workshop and all were awarded with certificates. The goal of this workshop was to prepare Bangladeshi developer for developing gaming software and mobile apps to compete with the global world.
