Senior government officials at a meeting said innovation practices should be scaled up in all levels of government offices to ease and smoothen public services.
Public servants need to be innovative to give input something new to their services providing process, which will effectively make sure better public services for the people, they told the meeting at the Bidyut Bhaban here on Wednesday.
Cabinet Division and Access to Information (a2i) programme organized the meeting on “Innovation practices in public administration: progress and doings.”
Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam, former cabinet secretary Mohammad
Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan and secretaries of different ministries, heads of various directorates and Project Director of the a2i programme Kabir Bin Anwar, among others, addressed the meeting with Prime Minister’s Principal Secretary Abul Kalam Azad in the chair.
