Dhaka University (DU) will establish a “DU Innovation and Incubation Lab (DU i-lab)” with an objective of accelerating innovation in Bangladesh.
A press conference will be held at the Old Senate Room of DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) office tomorrow at 4pm in this regard.
The overarching mission of the lab is to become a center of excellence for collaboration of innovation and entrepreneurship to incubate ideas, initiatives and businesses, across Dhaka University, promising elevation of the nation’s social and economic life, with all essential supports.
The DU i-lab is the flagship project of the VC office at the university that will focus on raising awareness on the role of innovation in the development of Bangladesh, and will work towards establishing an effective innovation ecosystem in Bangladesh.
