Injury forces Mushfiq to miss DPL

Captain of Dhaka Abahani Limited Mushfiqur Rahim will miss rest of the Super League matches of the Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier League (DPL) Cricket after getting injury in his left hand on Monday last. Mushfiq was injured when he was playing against Gazi Group Cricketers in their Super League clash at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur.
Chief Physician of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Dr Debashish Chowdhury said, ” There is a small fracture on the finger of the left hand of Mushfiqur Rahim, according to the CT Scan. We have advised Mushfiq to take rest for one weak. We expect he will recover from injury quickly.”
Wicketkeeper-batsman of Dhaka Abahani Limited Mushfiqur Rahim have to take sit rest of the Super League matches of the title aspirants Dhaka Abahani Limited.
Director of BCB Khaled Mahmud Sujon said, ” We expect that Mushfiqur Rahim will be totally fit before Bangladesh’s tour of Zimbabwe.”
Earlier, Captain of Prime Bank Cricket Club Tamim Iqbal was ruled out from the Super League due to knee injury. Pacer Taskin Ahmed of Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited was also ruled out due to injury in his hand. Captain of Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited Shakib Al Hasan left the city and he has been spending his time with his family in the United States of America. Shakib will join Bangladesh National Cricket team in Zimbabwe from USA.
Bangladesh team will leave Dhaka for Zimbabwe on June 29 to play one Test match, three One Day International (ODI) matches and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches against Zimbabwe.
