Information Minister Hasan Mahmud on Wednesday said, the government is planning to build flats for journalists.
“The government is thinking to build flats for the journalists to curb residential problems of them,” the minister said it while talking with Secretariat Reporters Forum in the media center of the Secretariat.
Replying to a query, Hasan Mahmud said, he will sit with print and electronic media owners to discuss about wage board implementations.
The minister said that he thought that the journalists working with the electronic media should have a wage board system.
He said that he is working in this regard.
