An information meeting titled ICVGD-Phase 2 implemented by the Department of Women’s Affairs under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs was held at Ramgarh in Khagrachari on Thursday. The information meeting was organized with the aim of smooth implementation of the field level activities of the project implemented with the funding of GoB and World Food Program. Upazila Nirbahi Officer (Acting) Umme Habiba Majumder presided over the function. Upazila Chairman Bishwa Pradeep Kumar Karbari was the chief guest at the meeting. Among others, Upazila Women’s Affairs Officer Md Jahangir Alam, Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Samshuzzaman, Ramgarh UP Chairman Shah Alam Majumder, Patachhara UP Chairman Monindra Tripura and journalist Nizam Uddin Lavlu spoke at the briefing.
Mosammat Mahmuda Akhter, Training Manager, Helen Keller International, conducted the briefing. She was assisted by training officers Maria Sultana and Mohammad Fazlul Quader.
