State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak has said the government is building capacity of the entrepreneurs of Union Digital Centers (UDCs) to develop them as info leaders who will empower people through providing them information.”The 10,000 UDC entrepreneurs are receiving training on writing reports and news features so that they could become genuine info leaders,” he told a workshop on Thursday.
Trinomuler Tathyajanala Programme of ICT Division and Tathyaseba Barta Sangstha (TSB) jointly organised workshop at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner’s office here.
Palak said the info leaders, after their building capacity in writing reports and features, will play a vital role in changing society through providing information about development activities and livelihood and socio-economic to rural people.
“The dissemination of necessary information to people will make them empowered,” he said adding the Trinomuler Tathyajanala Programme will also provide training to the UDC entrepreneurs about outsourcing and e-commerce to increase their earning.
