Among 15 ministries of the middle category, the industries ministry won the first place in e-document management for the fourth time in a row and for five times from January to June 2020.
The Aspire to Innovate (A2I) programme of the Information and Communication Technology Department under the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology has released the evaluation report reviewing data till June this year.
Besides, the office of the Chief Boiler Inspector under the Ministry of Industries is in the second place in e-document management among the 185 small government departments and agencies.
It is to be noted that the Industries Ministry has been leading in providing digital services from the very beginning. Even in the Covid-19 situation, all the works are going on in full force through virtual conferencing in the Ministry of Industries and its affiliated departments and agencies.
Routine meetings, Annual Performance Agreements (APAs) of the Ministries and Departments and Organisations, Personnel Personnel Plan of Employees (IAPs) and Progress Review Projects (ADPs) included in the Annual Development Program have been held in this time.
Daily activities and decision making are continued through e-filing. As a result, the partners concerned of the ministry are getting fast service.
