The outgoing Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka, Pankaj Saran, on Tuesday said the present relationship between Bangladesh and India is ‘very active’ and it will be strengthened further in the days to come.
“The present relationship between Bangladesh and India is very effective, active and dynamic. Fruits of cooperation between the two countries are reaching the common people,” the envoy told journalists after his farewell meeting with Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali.
When asked to make a comment about one of his big achievements in Bangladesh, Pankaj
Saran said he does not like to talk about himself but prefers to see comments from others.
Pankaj Saran thanked the Foreign Minister for all the cooperation he got during his tenure in Bangladesh.
Asked whether he is going to Moscow as a happy envoy, he told journalists, “Yes, definitely, definitely…I’m going to Moscow.”
