A historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Visva-Bharati University of India and Northern University of Bangladesh, on behalf of the respective governments of India and Bangladesh on April 10, says a press release.
Prof Dr Abu Yousuf Md. Abdullah, the Chairman, Northern University and Prof Swapan K Dutta, Vice-Chancellor, Visva-Bharati University represented the two signatory institutions.
The signing of the MoU, held during the Prime Minister’s visit to India and under the auspices of the governments of the two nations, ushered in a new era of bilateral cooperation in the areas of joint research projects, student exchanges, guest lecturing and a host of activities utilizing ICT for joint knowledge acquiring and cross-border academic development.
