Sports Reporter :Motivated Bangladesh will face India in the 1st ODI at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur today. The day/night affair begins at 3.00 pm. Bangladesh Television and Gazi Television will telecast the match live from the arena.Prior to upcoming match Bangladesh and India took part in the full-fledged practice session at Mirpur on Wednesday.Captain of Bangladesh team Mashrafe Bin Mortaza said, “I am hopeful to win against India in the first ODI. To play against India, it is always challenging. There is a craziness in every match against India. We want to show consistent performance. We want to perform match by match. It is very important to me. If we get our awaited result in the first match then we shall think the result of the other matches.”He said, “I believe that India are favourites. But I don’t think that we can’t beat them. I hope that we shall perform our best.”Captain of India team MS Dhoni said, “We shall play to win. If we win the first match, a momentum will be created. After that we shall play well in the other matches.”Dhoni said, “Bangladesh are playing good now-a-days. They have some talented players. Bangladesh performed well against Pakistan and in the recently concluded World Cup.” He said, “People of Bangladesh are cricket loving. When the match gets underway, the galleries are full of spectators.
