A two-member team led by FR Felix Raj, Principal of ST Xavier’s College, Kolkata, India called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique on Thursday at his office. Other team member was Firdausul Hasan, Secretary of ST Xavier’s College Alumni Association.
During the meeting they discussed various issues including undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programmes by the University of Dhaka and ST Xavier’s College, India.
They stressed the need for exchange of more teachers, researchers and students between the two institutions. They also agreed to organize joint programmes to observe International Mother Language Day at Kolkata every year.
