Detectives arrested an Indian citizen along with 10 firearms, 12 magazines and 35 rounds of bullets from Gabtoli area in the city on Monday night.
The arrestee was identified as Khairul, a resident of 24 Pargana in Bengal state of India.
Deputy Commissioner (Public Relations) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Masudur Rahman said tipped off, a team of the Detective Branch (DB) conducted a drive in the area and arrested Khairul at night.
The law enforcers also recovered 10 firearms, 12 magazines and 35 rounds of bullets from his possession.
Meanwhile, another team of the DB arrested a man named Belal and recovered seven microbus and two private cars from Jatrabari area in the city at night.
