The singing reality show Indian Idol 9 is gearing up to shoot its final episode. The popular musical reality show on Sony has been entertaining audiences with its exceptional musical performances every week, and the talented contestants are being showered with praise from judges and audiences alike.
The grand finale of the show will be held tonight. Recently, L V Revanth and Rohit, two of the top four contestants, visited their hometown, Hyderabad. Needless to say, they received a grand welcome from their family and fans.
In the last episode, L V Revanth also impressed Vidya Balan with “Moh Moh Ke Dhaage” from the film Dum Laga Ke Haisha.
Another contestant, Maalavika Sundar, sang “Piya Baware” from Rekha starrer Khubsoorat. Last but not the least, Rohit’s rendition of “Bin Tere” was appreciated by everyone. Anu Malik, Farah Khan and Sonakshi praised him for his performance and gave him a standing ovation.
There were also some amusing moments on the show, where Vidya flaunted her witty skills of hosting. However, the result was quite unexpected as Maalavika Sundar was eliminated from the show.ax
