Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) members arrested an Indian national along with seven firearms and 47 bullets from Binodpur Kadiratola in Shibganj upazila on Wednesday afternoon.
The arrestee is Milon Singh, 37, son of late Ratan Singh of Shukdevpur village in Malda district of West Bengal. Being tipped off that firearms were being sold at Kadiratola, a team of the elite force conducted a drive there around 4pm, said Commanding Officer of Chapainawabganj Rab camp Squadron Leader M Sayeed Abdullah Al-Murad.
