The Indian High Commission in Dhaka has invited the Indian community to the Republic Day celebrations to be held at its New Chancery Complex, Plot No. 2A, UN Road, Baridhara in Dhaka on January 26. “All members of the Indian community are cordially invited to participate in the celebrations, and reach the venue by 0845 hours,” the High Commission said in a statement. It said Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Pankaj Saran would unfurl the National Flag at 0900 hours, to be followed by the singing of the national anthem.
The envoy would then read the Indian President’s message to the nation while the children of the Indian community of Dhaka would present a cultural programme as part of the celebration.
