The High Commission (HC) of India will celebrate the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) and Indian Council of Cultural Relations (ICCR) Day today at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the city.
Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed will grace the occasion as the chief guest while Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Pankaj Saran will also be present.
ITEC and ICCR alumni along with members of the Youth Delegations that have visited India are expected to attend the programme.
Bangladesh is one of India’s principal ITEC partners. Several students of Bangladesh have studied in India at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels under the ICCR Scholarship Programmes.
