City Mayor AJM Nasiruddin received the key of an ambulance from the Minister for Freedom Fighters Affairs Ministry AKM Mozammel Hoque in a simple ceremony held in Dhaka on Tuesday.
Sources said Indian govt has donated the ambulance to Chittagong city corporation aimed at rendering medicate services in honour of the freedom fighters of 1971 liberation war.
The ambulance was given through National FF Foundation of Bangladesh, a CCC sources said.
After receiving the key of the vehicle, city mayor earmarked the donation as a humanitarian task of the Indian govt and he thanked Indian govt for their gift in health sector, sources said.
