Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive seized Indian goods worth Tk10 lakh from Amrakhali area here early Friday.
Acting on secret information, a team of BGB-26 conducted a drive in the area and seized Indian saris, three-pieces, cumin, tea, Phensidyl syrup, liquor, cosmetics, imitation jewelry, automobile parts and cream worth Tk 10.20 lakh in the early morning, said Deputy Commanding Officer of Jessore BGB-26 Battalion Mohammad Liakat Ali.
The seized items were deposited to Benapole customs house.
