Indian Assistant High Commissioner to Chattogram Anindya Banerjee attended as chief guest at a feedback programme organised following completion of clinical internship by students of Medicine faculty of Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) on the university campus on Sunday.
Bangladesh has advanced much over the 48 years of its journey and its development is now an example for the global.
Addressing the programme, the assistant high commissioner said the United Nations has recommended for upgrading the country as developing country from the least developed one for advancement in its per capita income, human resources and capacity in tackling the economic risks.
Putting up the role of India during the Bangladesh’s Liberation War, he said India always stood by the people of Bangladesh and no evil force will be able to break the relationship between the two neighboring countries.
The students of CVASU have been conducting internship at Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University for the last 19 years. Students from the both countries are being benefited through the exchange programme,he added
He also hoped that the collaboration between the countries will surely help increase quality of education and skill of the teachers and students.
CVASU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Gautam Buddha Das was the chief patron of the function.
 Prof AKM Shamsuddin, external affairs director presided over the programme.
Fisheries faculty Dean Prof Dr M Nurul Absar Khan, Food Science and Technology faculty Dean Prof Dr Jannatara Khatun, Veterinary Medicine faculty Dean Professor Dr Abdul Ahad and Student Affair Director Professor Dr Md Mezbah Uddin addressed the programme.
