A four-member delegation of neighbouring country India on Monday called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique at his office on the campus. Dr Muhammed Majeed, Managing Director of Sami Labs Limited, one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in India, led the delegation, said a DU press release.
Other team members were Ujjwal Sankar Mukhopadhyay, Saumitra Aich and Md Farukh Hossain.
Associate Professor of DU Fisheries Department Dr Md Raknuzzaman was also present at the meeting.
During the meeting, they discussed various issues, including the possibilities of undertaking of collaborative research programmes on pharmacy and chemistry by the University of Dhaka and Sami Labs Limited, India.
