Indian citizen held with BD ID card

Boalkhali thana police of Chittagong district rounded up one Indian citizen from court building premises in city on Sunday afternoon.
 The detained Indian citizen identified as Ranadhir Waddadar (54) and recovered a Bangladeshi National ID card from him possession. A case in connection was lodged with the Boalkhali thana, sources said.
Officer incharge of Boalkhali Thana Salahuddin chowdhury told that Ranadhir had been staying in Chittagong since long hiding his original identity.
 Police sources said Ranadhir procured Bangladeshi National ID from Mohra area under chandgaon thana in 2008 by this name as he was staying in Mohra WASA road.
 The passport that recovered from his possession mentioned the addresses of south Chabbispargana district of West Bengal, India.
Officer -In-charge further said we will enquire how Ranadhir procures ID card from Bangladesh being a Indian national. SI Md. Kairul of Boalkhali thana lodged a case against him , sources said. Police sources said Ranadhir procures Indian passport in 1984 and after expiry of first passport, second passport issued to him in 1995 by Indian govt.
He came Bangladesh in 1995 having 5 days tourist visa and remain staying in Chittagong since then after expiry of tourist visa .
Boalkhali thana sources said Ranadhir is shouldering two criminal cases, one complaint and one GD with the Boalkhali thana earlier for criminal offenses in Boalkhali thana area, sources said.
