Indian bank team calls for stronger bilateral relations

An Indian Exim Bank team led by its Bangladesh representative Mr. Alak Bara calls on Chattogram City Mayor Md.RezaulKarim chowdhuryat latter’s city residence on friday last. Project Director of LED light project in port city Engr. Jhulum Kumar Das was present.
During the meet with city mayor , the visiting delegation members exchange views on bilateral issue including ongoing LED light project of 466 kilometer city roads with the funding of India.
City Mayor while exchanging views congratulated the Indian govt for loan facilities of Ezxim Bank of India for road lightening project in port city.
He said following the lightning project, the bilateral cooperation and brotherly relations in between two countries will cemented further. Mr, Alak Bara said out of total project estimate of Tk.260 crores, India will provide 214 crores taka and remaining will be borne by the govt of Bangladesh. Project Director Engr.Julan Kumar said 10 kilometer streets in each city ward will be lightened for minimising the night incidents within city areas.
