Indian Army gives 15 trained horses to Bangladesh Army

The Indian Army has gifted 15 trained horses to the Bangladesh Army. The horses were handed to the Bangladesh Army at No-Mans land through the port of Benapole on Wednesday afternoon.
Colonel Mazhar of Jashore Cantonment was present on behalf of Bangladesh Army and Brigadier General Monmith Singh Sabharwal of the Kolkata Army took part during the handing over ceremony..
Officers of Bangladesh and Indian Army were also present at the time. Assistant Director of BGB 49 Battalion Md. Selim Hossain said the horses were handed over after the formalities were finished.
Some army trucks will be taken to Savar from Benapole port.
