Melbourne, Mar 19 (AP/UNB) – India captain Mahendrah Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first against Bangladesh in their World Cup quarterfinal at a hot and windy Melbourne Cricket Ground. India is fielding an unchanged lineup to the one that beat Zimbabwe by six wickets in its final pool match last week. Nasir Hossain and captain Mushrafe Mortaza return to the Bangladesh lineup after sitting out the team’s previous match against New Zealand. Bangladesh is playing in its first World Cup quarterfinal after eliminating England in Adelaide earlier this month.
