India will play one Test and three One-Day Internationals during their tour of Bangladesh in June, said a release from Bangladesh Cricket Board on Monday (May 4).
India are scheduled to reach Dhaka on June 7 and play the one-off Test at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali stadium in Fatullah from June 10. It would be India’s first five-day assignment in Bangladesh since they beat them 2-0 in January 2010.
India have so far played seven Tests in Bangladesh across four tours, winning six and drawing one.
The teams would then return to Mirpur for the three day-night ODIs on June 18, 21 and 24. All of these game have been provided a reserve day.
India last toured Bangladesh for three ODIs in June 2014 when the Suresh Raina-led team won the first two games before the final match was washed out. The tour is best remembered for Stuart Binny’s returns of 6 for 4 in the second encounter, the best bowling figures by an Indian in ODIs.
Schedule:
June 10-14: One-off Test, Fatullah
June 18: First ODI, Mirpur
June 21: Second ODI, Mirpur
June 24: Third ODI, Mirpur.
